Step 1: trace your pattern onto freezer paper and cut out with an exacto-knife.
Step 2: Iron the freezer paper onto your tee (plasticky side down).
Step 3: Paint
Step 4: Peel off the freezer paper and feel pretty darn cool.

Alissa, Freezer paper is a plastic-backed paper you can find in the grocery store near the waxed paper and plastic wrap. When you iron it onto a t-shirt, the plastic side will melt and stick to the fabric, but it will peel off without leaving a residue. Perfect for stenciling!
I love freezer paper!! Did you know you can print right onto the paper? I have to do it that way, otherwise I always mess it up. :)
