Let's Celebrate! (with a giveaway!!!)

Okay, folks, here's the deal:

I'm in a good mood today. I just finished and published my very first sewing tutorial (word's still out on whether or not anyone will actually be able to make something with it). Still, I think that's an accomplishment to be celebrated.

Also, I recently won my very first giveaway ever. It was awesome. You should have seen the family happy dance we had going on here.

So, since I'm in a good mood, and I want to pass on some good giveaway karma, aaaaaand since I've got a really cute pair of ruffly red slippers just hanging around, I'm hosting a giveaway of my own:

These lovelies will probably fit women's sizes 5-7. And they might just be yours! Here's how:

1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite way to celebrate happy little things.

2. Become a follower of this blog, then come back and leave another comment telling me you did so. (if you're already a follower, just leave another comment telling me that you're already a follower)

3. Mention the giveaway on YOUR blog, then leave a comment with a link.

Make sure you've got your email address linked to your blogger profile, or include your email address in your comment. No point winning if I don't have any way to notify you!

A winner will be randomly chosen Friday, January 29th at 9:00 pm.

Sorry, international readers, but this giveaway is only open to readers in the US and Canada. But don't feel too bad-- you can use my tutorial to make your own!

(Oh, and it's not open to my immediate family members either. 'Cause if you want some slippers, all you've got to do is ask...)

and one more thing for those of you with allergies: these slippers were made in a pet-free, smoke-free home.

The giveaway is closed. Thanks everybody!

these are super cute! With my cold wooden floors here in Maine, these would be great to wear and keep my feet warm. Have a great weekend!

Oh my goodness those slippers are so cute! My favorite way to celebrate little happy things is to throw a five second dance party.

These slippers are so cute. The way I celebrate happy little things is to have an impromptu snuggle fest.

My favorite was to celebrate happy things is to first always recognize them when they happen and allow yourself time to smile and let the moment really resonate. I find at least for me when I do that, I remember the happy moment more often than when I don't.

Me me me. They would look darling on such a dainty foot as owned by one charming little girl, Amaryllis...

ps: they looked little from the picture so I thought you meant 5-7 for toddlers. BUT IT'S EVEN BETTER if you mean they are for us big girls too!!!!

These slippers are so cute, I'd love to win! Congrats on your first tutorial - I've been waiting for it since One Pretty Thing posted your photo from flikr. I have tried to make some of my own but haven't been able to quite figure it out. these are really cute! Sorry when I originally posted this I forgot to include how I celebrate little things! So silly of me. If my husband or baby is around, I'd give them a kiss! and if not, I'd probably eat a treat like a cookie or chocolate. so naughty

Not sure if the slippers will fit me but I know that my mom would love these so....

I love celebrating little things by listening to happy upbeat music and dancing around for a few minutes or singing out loud! :) I feel free doing this...

I celebrate happy things by sharing it with someone I love. It seems the joyful stories shared spread the joy even thicker! Love these slippers...thought they were for a little one, so thrilled to find they would fit me!! ;)

Ooh, these are just my size, and super cute too! I need a little red slipper spice to my life 'cause we're the boring folk who just go out to dinner to celebrate. Or, if it's bordering on trivial, we do nothing. Yeah, we're that exciting.

Steph, since I'm not allowed to enter and they wouldn't fit me anyways, do you wanna' make me a pair? Preferably some bright color like yellow. I would love some, and my birthdays ONLY 6 months away. I mean you only turn 14 once right? Love you, and I gotta' say those are so darn cute!!
