This picnic table has sat unfinished for a whole year. We finally got tired of getting slivers in our behinds and Joe decided to do something about it. I picked the color (Valspar's City Chartreuse) and Joe did the painting. Love it!
I love how it turned out. I love looking over there and seeing a spot of fantastic color -- (not that I minded it before, but NOW it catches my eye!) Love it!
Love it! I put up a honeysuckle two years ago and it's just starting to catch on now. I had a friend at work who put it all over the dog kennel. Shade and a deoderizer!
I'm a thrifty-bookworm-knit-a-holic-wanna-be-seamstress. I spend most of my days wrangling/homeschooling my four crazy kids (3 boys, one girl), but sometimes I swing by my little corner of the web to blog. I'm so glad you stopped by.

This is really cute. I would love a pergola in my backyard. What kind of vine is that, could it possibly be a clematis or honeysuckle? Please share!
It's honeysuckle, Julie. It's just starting to bloom now and it smells DIVINE.

Honeysuckle on a dog kennel-- genius!! Add that one to our list of home/garden projects...
